1907 Vulcan 0-4-0ST in Zephyrhills, FL

As we started circling back from Tampa, we found a 1907 Vulcan 0-4-0ST right outside of Zephyrhills, FL. It was in a fenced in "park", but there was no way to access this train from the other side. This loco has a greatly documented history that you can check out here.

1904 ALCO 0-4-0ST in Cleveland, GA

Our third train stop of the day, after visiting and doing the "death stairs" at Tallulah Gorge National Park, was to find a small 1904 ALCO in Cleveland Jefferson Cleveland, GA. Our previous stops were for a 1930 Baldwin 2-10-0 in Winder, and a 1907 Baldwin 2-8-0 in Cle... Jefferson.

This was the start of our summer vacation in 2017. Quite a bit of different things here from the Georgia State Railroad Museum in Savannah, GA. First, the trains:

1917 Vulcan Iron Works 0-4-0ST in Tifton, GA

We took a weekend trip up from central Florida to Tifton, GA to see the only running narrow gauge steam train in the state. It was a 1917 Vulcan Iron Works 0-4-0ST that runs at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture. I have driven by this area since I started making drives from Bama to work for The Mouse since 1989 and never knew this was here. This was the first view we got of the train:
