1935 Heisler 0-4-0F and 1925 Baldwin 2-8-2 in Hattiesburg, MS (2017)

One of my coolest finds on this particular trip was this 1935 Heisler 0-4-0F (#34). The "F" stands for fireless. This is the first "fireless" steam train I have come across before.



This plaque explains it:


So basically it's a steam tank on wheels. Look how far  into the cab that "boiler" goes.
And there's no fire box.
The only thing it really has is a throttle and a brake.
