1905 Rogers 0-6-0 in Conyers, GA

Our fourth stop on this particular day (we had already stopped at Macontrespassed in Griffin, and visited Georgia's "Titanic"), led us to Conyers, GA, where a 1905 Rogers 0-6-0 was located...or as the locals called it, the "Dinky" train.

We learned later that this train once ferried people back and forth to Stone Mountain, where we were staying at the time. There was even mention of it at the quarry site:

The Midland Railroad #104
