We took an early spring trip to the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad in Bryson City, NC. Unfortunately the steam wasn't running yet, but we were still able to do their Nantahala River Gorge excursion via diesel. The weather wasn't that great and the scenery hadn't greened up yet but it was a fun trip anyway.
