So we were doing the little train ride back to the shop area at the Southeastern Railway Museum in Duluth, GA, when I spotted what looked like a boiler sitting in the back.
When I mentioned it to the conductor, he said it was old "Maude" that hadn't been reassembled since the move from their old location.
He then pointed out to me on the return trip that the cab was sitting off to the side as well.
According to the museum website, the loco is a Fourney type locomotive built in 1876 for the Atlanta and Charlotte Air Line by Baldwin (Burnham, Parry, Williams #4160) for passenger service. It was later used by Southern Railway as a shop switcher. It is an 0-4-0RT.
